To unify the communication and knowledge exchange between the emergency medical teams across Europe iProcureSecurity seeks to translate the identified EMS terms in all consortium languages.

That is why the project encourages everyone willing to contribute, to suggest and add missing terminology translation.

Damage area

The area in which the immediate damage occurred.

Data enabled technologies

Technologies based on data analysis and interpretation.

De facto

Describes situations that exist in reality, even if not legally recognised

De iure

Describes practices that are legally recognised, regardless whether the practice exists in reality

Decision support software

Computer-based application that collects, organizes and analyzes health data to facilitate diagnosis and treatment.

Deep learning

Deep learning is an artificial intelligence function that imitates the workings of the human brain in processing data and creating patterns for use in decision making.

Deferred emergency

Injury or disease which can be addressed later without any damage to the victim.

Deliverables

Also known as statement of work or statement of requirement. Deliverables are usually detailed in the specification of the approach to market documentation and are linked to details

Demand management

The pro-active approach to managing demand, for example standardisation initiatives. This could include product masking (see definition) or it could include the adoption of specific processes for spending authorisation.

Disaster Medical Response

Immediate assistance to maintain life, improve health and support the morale of the affected population.
