Man I’ve been dealing with that dreaded HEMI tick for months now and it was driving me absolutely crazy, every time I started the car cold I’d hear that rhythmic tapping noise and I was convinced my lifters were on their way out which would have been a seriously expensive repair. I took it to a couple of places and they all gave me different opinions, one said it was just the exhaust manifold bolts which is a known issue, another said I needed a full top-end rebuild, so I was honestly pretty stressed about who to trust with this thing. A friend who owns a Challenger recommended I check out https://alzaabiautocare.com/brands/dodge/ and said they actually use the proper Mopar diagnostic tools and have technicians who deal with these HEMI engines on a daily basis, so I figured it was worth a shot. They diagnosed it as the manifold bolts which was such a relief compared to what I was fearing, got it fixed up in a couple of days and the car sounds healthy again, no more embarrassing noises at the traffic lights. Honestly the peace of mind alone was worth the trip, if anyone else is stressing over engine noises on their Dodge I’d say get it checked properly before you assume the worst.
